A micro loan program through The Denan Project, a grassroots organization whose volunteer members secure the necessary resources to provide health care, education, and other critical assistance to highly disadvantaged people. This micro loan is for a group of 10 women in Denan with helping supply supplemental food to the neediest during times of drought, work to supply water during drought, providing free quality health care to all patients, and providing health care lectures to patients about HIV/AIDS, proper use of medicines, breast feeding, personal hygiene, anti-female genital mutilation, sanitation, and childcare. Their work helps impoverished communities become self-sustainable.
