Contribute to a Legacy of Peace

The International Association of Sufism (IAS), a non-profit organization, a United Nations NGO/DGC, and a recipient of the UNESCO Culture of Peace and Nonviolence: Messenger of Manifesto in 2000, was established in California in 1983 by Dr. Nahid Angha and Shah Nazar Seyyed Dr. Ali Kianfar. IAS was formed to introduce Sufism in all its varied forms to the public, to make known the inter-relation between Sufi principles and scientific principles, to provide a forum for a continuing dialogue between the different schools of Sufism, and to preserve and advance the study and goals of Sufism.

IAS is the first association to enable Sufis and scholars from around the world, from many nations and traditions, to establish relations and come together in the spirit of unity and harmony.

Now, IAS seeks to establish a Center to continue and expand its programs, providing a gathering place for current and future generations. IAS envisions that the Center will host programs and initiatives, including but not limited to:

You are invited to take part in this historical and humanitarian movement.

The International Association of Sufism aims to raise $3 million to purchase and endow a Center. IAS has already raised over $800,000 in donations and pledges towards this goal.
