Beyond Identification
“The Resonant Heart”
Saturday, October 10, 2026,
Zoom
9:00am – 11:00am (PT)
Raja Selvam, Ph.D.
Program Description
This year’s Beyond Identification program considers the heart as a locus of connecting with the relational field. The spiritual heart can be conceptualized as vehicle that transcends the duality of the self-object relationship, facilitating both perception and influence beyond the ordinary limits of three-dimensional consensus reality. The heart has been recognized as a center of awareness in many spiritual traditions since ancient times. Many healing traditions also recognize that the heart plays a central role growth and transformation.
Building on the framework of Morphic Resonance presented by Rupert Sheldrake at last year’s presentation, the field effects of resonance are considered in the context of the psychotherapeutic relationship. As a construct, resonance has gained increasing traction i as a therapeutic factor in models of psychotherapy that include both spiritual and somatic dimensions of human experience. Our featured presenter, Raja Selvam, Ph.D., is both a clinician and educator at the cutting edge of recent developments in psychotherapy and healing. His presentation will focus on s the science-backed method of embodying emotions as an effective practice for not only keeping one’s heart open, resilient, and resonant but also for cognitive, emotional, behavioral, relational, and spiritual development.
