Shah Nazar Seyyed Ali Kianfar, Ph.D. is a renowned Sufi Master, a disciple of Moulana Shah Maghsoud, of the Uwaiysi School of Sufism. Dr. Kianfar began studying Erfan under the guidance and supervision of his Master of Tariq, Moulana Shah Maghsoud, and was appointed by him to teach and lead gatherings. Dr. Kianfar has extensive studies in Islamic philosophy and has been teaching Sufism for over thirty years. He has given keynote lectures at colleges and universities in the United States, Australia, and Europe, and has represented Sufism amongst other world religious leaders at conferences organized by UNESCO and other international organizations. He is an internationally published author of numerous books and articles on the subject of Sufism, and is the co-director and co-founder of the International Association of Sufism.
