Voices for Justice

Mission Statement

Voices for Justice is a department of the International Association of Sufism, a non-profit, United Nations, NGO-DPI.

We are a group of youth leaders advocating for the rights of children by providing a forum for public awareness through: education, community service, events and programs so that every child and every young adult has the opportunity to fulfill his or her highest potential.

Recent Projects:

Ambassadors to UNICEF

Voices for Justice represents a unified voice for every child whose rights have been denied and for every child whose voice has been silenced.

Voices for Justice supports the efforts of UNICEF’s life saving work with quarterly monetary contributions.

UNICEF works in more than 180 countries and territories providing health care, clean water, improved nutrition, and education to millions of children in Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. Our last contribution through the ‘trick or treat’ for UNICEF Program’ provided funding for vaccination and immunization for Nigerian children.
Last year Voices for Justice was given the title of Ambassadors for Unicef for helping to raise over $1000.00 for an after school program at a Palestinian Youth Center. Thank you to all who helped make this possible!

Baby Knit Cap Project: Malawi, Africa

Voices for Justice launched our first annual baby knit cap project in 2007. All hand made knit caps will be donated to orphanages, hospitals, clinics and schools in Malawi, Africa. Malawi is one of the 11 poorest countries in Africa and there are 550,000 orphaned children currently living in Malawi. The caps will be distributed through our collaboration with The Global Aids Interfaith Alliance. Voices for Justice believes that all children deserve to have their basic needs met; therefore, we plan to provide warmth and comfort to many babies in need. We anticipate that this will be an annual project, therefore, please inquire if you are interested in participating.

Adopt a classroom in Central America

Collectively VFJ will adopt a classroom in Central America targeting preschool aged children in rural areas.

School supplies that will be distributed included but not limited to: pencils, notebooks, crayons, colored pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners individually packaged in a bag for each child.

Food Drive
