Heidi Gilpin, Ph.D.

Heidi Gilpin, Ph.D., is Chair of European Studies and an Associate Professor at Amherst College. She holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Harvard University. Her book Architectures of Disappearance: Movement in Performance, New Media, and Architecture is forthcoming from The MIT Press. She has been a member of the International Association of Sufism since 1984.
