Institute for Sufi Studies: Educational and Research Center
“The Institute for Sufi Studies (ISS) is an educational department of the International Association of Sufism (IAS), promoting education through a variety of methods, including academic classes, lectures, conferences, retreats, and individual and group meditation, as well as holding traditional Sufi gatherings.
The Institute for Sufi Studies offers classes at its center, on-line, and at other educational institutions; and students and practitioners are located locally as well as throughout the world. All faculty members are Sufi practitioners and teachers, holding expertise in a broad range of disciplines, including religion, literature, psychology, philosophy, sociology, and science.
The ISS also promotes its mission throughout the states and internationally by collaborating with universities, colleges, community centers, churches, and interfaith groups and organizations, as well as hosting and actively participating in international conferences.
