Ongoing Meditation and Poetry Reading
Thursdays 6:30 – 7:15
Veritas Room (first Floor), Heritage and Alumni House, Dominican University of California. (next to Pennefort Hall).
On the first and third Thursdays of the month, Seyedeh Dr. Angha will lead poetry reading along with Nafisa and Ali.
On the second and fourth Thursdays, Shah Nazar Seyed Dr. Ali Kianfar will lead meditation.
Open to the public. All are welcome. No fee.
Introduction to Sufism, an ongoing group for meditation, practice, readings on Sufism, and reflection. No fee. Led by Amineh Pryor, Ph.D. under the direction of Seyyedeh Nahid Angha, Ph.D. and Shah Nazar Seyyed Ali Kianfar, Ph.D. 7 pm on certain Tuesdays. Call for dates.
Women’s Meditation Circle, for women of all spiritual backgrounds and traditions who are seeking inner peace and healing. Meditation, music, sharing. Refreshments are served. No fee. Led by Sheikha Halima JoAnn Haymaker, under the direction of Seyyedeh Nahid Angha, Ph.D. and Shah Nazar Seyyed Ali Kianfar, Ph.D. Every Alternate Thursday 1 to 2 p.m.
Student-led Sufi Gathering. Open to anyone who wants to learn more about Sufism in the context of a Sufi gathering. No fee. Please call in advance to reserve a place. Every Alternate Saturday.
